In his current work, which he talks about in this session, Rafe Copeland is trying to unlock a new mode of vision, a new set of images, which will allow us to experience a world which is all around us but invisible: that of wireless communication. The point is to trigger a reevaluation of our relationship to the technology that we use, the cities that we build, and perhaps a touch of terror at the enormity of these systems we create and don’t fully appreciate.
