Podcast of the kick-off symposium ‘Technologies of Narration’ is now available

The podcast of the kick-off symposium ‘Technologies of Narration’, which took place on 28 September as part of the Dutch Film Festival (NFF) industry programme, is now available online. You can listen to this podcast on Soundcloud here. Note that the language of the symposium was Dutch, with an exception of the talk by Susanne Knittel (Utrecht University).

This mini-symposium zoomed in on how objects, history, memory and senses affect the stories we tell and the way we tell them. What happens when one takes into account the agency of technology, collective narratives and affect, and recounts how stories are built, remembered and how they are felt? These questions were addressed by three speakers: Susanne Knittel (Utrecht University, cultural memory studies), Wander Eikelboom (Avans Hogeschool Breda, design and cultural criticism) and Quinsy Gario (theatre maker and poet). Their talks were followed by a discussion with the audience.
